New saying of the month

See if you know what this saying means and post your comments below . . .
As you make your bed, so you must lie on it

A reminder that our International Parents Meeting will be at 2.15pm on Tuesday 17th in the staffroom next week.
All welcome :)

Learning about rubbish and recycling

We have been learning about rubbish and recycling.  We took photos of the three different types of rubbish bins.  Then we recorded our explanations about each bin and what it is used for on the Ipad.  We enjoyed hearing our voices and watching our movie.

A very special Easter Assembly

Today Mr Coleman lead our Easter assembly.  We retold the story of Jesus' death and resurrection.

Everyone was given a very special stone.  One side is grey with a black cross.  The other side is yellow like the sun, with a red heart.  The stone helps us to remember the sadness of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, and the glory of His resurrection.

Easter Blessings to you all!

Cross Country

On Tuesday, we had our school Cross Country.  Despite a lot of rain in the days leading up to the event, the weather was perfect and Miss Nixon and Mrs Booysens did an amazing job in their running the event.  Here are some pics.

Band concert

Last week, students from our Training Band and Concert Band combined to give a concert to our school community.

The students really enjoyed their performance!
