Editing our writing

We are learning to edit our writing.  This means that we check our spelling carefully and make sure that our sentences make sense.

Recount Writing

Primary students are learning to write recounts.  Recounts are written in the past tense about an event that has already happened.  Children are learning to sequence ideas and link these ideas with time words, such as "next", "then", "after that" and so on.
